PESystems Inc. of Fairfax wins a $3 million contract from the Air Force for simulator training aids and devices.

PESystems was recently awarded an 8(a) sole source contract by Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC/DOT - Ogden Contract office) to provide Simulator Certification & Evaluation Support.  This is a follow-on to the AFSOC services currently being provided under the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Assistance and Advisory Services (A&AS) vehicle and will include support at Hurlburt and Kirtland Air Force bases.

The objective of this task is to provide specialized support to AFSOC to establish, and manage Simulator Certification (SIMCERT) and Simulator Validation (SIMVAL) programs in accordance with AFI 36-2251 Management of Air Force Training Systems and other related Air Force, government, and agency guidance.  PESystems will perform those tasks related to the development, production, and sustainment of various training systems for which AFSOC is designated lead command.  These tasks will include the full range of support actions to analyze problems, define alternative solutions, provide recommendations, write reports, and accomplish specifically assigned work as required.
