PE Systems proudly participated in the 5th Annual Operation Tools for Schools, a charitable event hosted by Blue Star Families of Dayton and Southwestern Ohio on August 16th.
This school supply drive supported military families, including active-duty service members, veterans, reservists, and members of the National Guard, by providing essential supplies for their pre-K through 12th-grade students and for current service members, Veterans, and military spouses enrolled in higher education.
PE Systems collected school supplies in donation boxes at the Dayton office and during the Dayton Family Fun Night on August 1st. PE Systems employees quickly filled the boxes with glue sticks, crayons, notebooks, pencils, and other essential items for the school year.
More than 300 students and their families, representing over 93 households, attended the event. PE Systems team members Reginald James, Yvonne Vermillion, Scott Murray and Kayla Payne, were excited to volunteer. They staffed the resource table sponsored by PE Systems and handed out supplies to the students and families.
PE Systems’ participation in Operation Tools for Schools highlights the company’s commitment to community engagement and supporting military families. PE Systems looks forward to continuing its partnership with Blue Star Families and participating in future initiatives.
