Since 2004, PE Systems has provided employees with tickets to the Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball. This special benefit offers a fun experience with their families without the cost. Because employees play such a vital role in the company, it certainly makes sense to devote a day to appreciating and engaging with employees and the important people in their lives.
The Dayton Dragons baseball stadium is located on North Patterson Boulevard, in the Water Street District of downtown Dayton. The Dragons are a minor league baseball team, affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds, created in 2000, though the team itself has been around since 1988. The team was renamed five times from 1988-2000. The stadium has hosted the Midwest League all-star game twice, once in 2001 and again in 2013. The games are fun for both kids and adults with things to do for all ages. The tickets are hard to get as most games are sell outs.
PE Systems employees working at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, also experience a special night out to cheer on their Macon Bacon Minor League Baseball team. The evening includes tickets, food, and refreshments. Rachel Castle, Program Manager at PE Systems said, “this is just one way we prioritize our employees and show them we value them and their families.”
According to Becky Evans, Program Management Analyst at PE Systems, employees receive tickets each year because the company wants “to make sure that our employees know we appreciate their hard work and dedication. It helps to know that your employer cares and enjoying time at a ball game relaxing with friends and family is a perfect way to do that!”
