Robin’s Night Out

Macon, Georgia baseball stadium entrance

PE Systems employees that work at Robins Air Force Base, along with their families, gathered on June 7th at a Macon Bacon baseball game in Macon, Georgia. The event allowed participants to connect with colleagues and meet company leaders from Fairfax, VA, and Dayton, OH, creating a memorable and enriching experience for all.

Our PE Systems CEO, Marissa King, kicked off the game by throwing the ceremonial first pitch—a strike, nonetheless. The lefty’s pitch was such a hit, it set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable evening.

In Mrs. King’s words, “Events like these are not only a chance for us to come together and have fun, but they also reinforce the sense of community and belonging that is so integral to who we are as a team.”

PE Systems reserved the party deck for the 112 attendees, where a plethora of delicious food awaited. Guests enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and, of course, bacon!

This event was designed as a celebratory occasion, aimed at fostering stronger connections between the leadership of our company and our devoted workforce. It provided a platform for our team to come together and reflect on the remarkable achievements of our employees, who have made impactful contributions to both the company and the Air Force.

Throughout the event, the group celebrated the PE Systems vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence, which has driven the organization forward. The gathering served not only to recognize their accomplishments but also to inspire and motivate the entire team as they continued to strive for greater success together.

The event was not the only gathering that brought people together for the week. PE Systems employees received a tour of Robins Air Force Base, where about seventy-five employees are based, and had the opportunity to interact with customers, receiving valuable feedback on PE Systems work. The interactions strengthened relationships with our customers and tightened employee bonds. Maurice McDonald summed up the trip aptly: “We all had a great time—lots of fellowship.”

These experiences are sure to be cherished by all participants for years to come.
