Pamela C. Johnson (CFO & Executive VP) and Wes King (CEO & President) of PES

The Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Miami Valley Chapter 97 presented Mr. Wes King, CEO and President, PE Systems, with a “Certificate of Appreciation” Welcome Home. The VVA gives out many awards to the Vietnam veterans to thank and honor them and their families for their service and sacrifice. The Certificate of Appreciation is a tribute and recognition of valuable efforts and outstanding service by our Vietnam veterans, and all our nation’s veterans. The VVA’s mission and goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to all veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.

The VVA is the only national Vietnam veteran’s organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to both the Vietnam-era veterans and their families.

The VVA provides veteran services, outreach programs, government relations, and produces several publications. The VVA helps to provide greater public awareness of the outstanding issues surrounding Vietnam-era veterans by disseminating written information on a continual basis. In addition, self-help guides on issues such as Agent Orange and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder are published and made available to anyone interested.
