William “Doug” Cooper Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Fairfax, VA – PE Systems (PES), is pleased to announce the promotion of William D. Cooper, Jr. “Doug”, to Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Mr. Cooper will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the day to day operations of the company.

Wes King, President and CEO of PE Systems, had this to say about the promotion. “Since joining PES as the VP of Contracts, Compliance and Ethics, Doug has provided support and guidance that have played an important role in our current successes while making forward-thinking decisions that seek to ensure the future of the organization. As COO, Doug will be able to continue to help us to secure an even brighter future.”

Mr. Cooper earned his Master of Business Administration at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. He also holds a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) from the National Contract Management Association. His professional career started at SAIC in the early 90s. Throughout his career he has traveled across the globe providing hands-on support in the most austere environments. Most recently, before joining PES, he served Engility Corporation overseeing its Military Training and International Development portfolios. He joined PES early 2017 as the VP of Contracts, Compliance, and Ethics.
